How to Share Windows 7 Data

Ruangngoprek.web.id  - How to Share Data on Windows 7, Many of my friends asked me how to share data on Windows 7 or Windows 8. Of course, I couldn't answer it straight away, because I had tried it several times and I had never succeeded, and one day a friend asked me to create a network in his office that used the Windows 7 system. From there, I started to find out about sharing data using Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Armed with free internet (using my neighbor's wifi hehehehe..) I started to find out how to share data on Windows 7 properly. As a result, I also found an article that reviewed data sharing on Windows 7. As for Windows 8, I think there is not much difference, if there is, it is only a little and we just have to adjust it.

Looking at my experience, here I will share a little with friends who may still be among you who don't know how to share data on Windows 7. And for those who already know, maybe this method is trivial, you can say it's nothing.

How to share data in Windows 7

#First Set the IP of Both Computers

First of all, before you share a folder, it would be a good idea to set the network IP of both your computers first.
1. Enter the control panel
2. Select Network and internet
3. Select Network sharing center
4. Change adapter settings
5. On Ethernet, right click then properties
6. Select Internet Protocol version 4

7. IP address 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2 for the second computer

8. Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
9. Next, click OK.

#Second Sharing Files or Folders

1.  Enter Windows Explorer, find the folder you want to share, then right-click and select =>  share with  =>  Specific people  . A file sharing window will appear. In this section, we add the  Everyone  user , then click  Add  . In the permission level section, you can change it. If the sharing folder can only be viewed without being able to be changed, select the  Read  option . However, if you want to be able to change the data and add it to the folder, select  Read / Write  . After the  Everyone  user is listed, click  share  .

2.  Next we will get a confirmation "  Your Folder is Shared  ", and click done.

For sharing files and folders, I think that's enough, my friend, just try it and if it works, the files and folders on computer 1 will be visible on the network system on computer 2.

#Third, change the Network Sharing settings

1.  First go to  Control Panel

2.  Select Network and Internet

3. Network and Sharing Center

4. Change Advanced Sharing Settings

5. In the All Network section, click Turn On Sharing to anyone, and Turn off password protected sharing, then click Save Changes.

#Fourth Test the connection of the two computer networks

If you have completed step 3, next we will test whether the network between the two computers is connected.

1. Press Windows+R then type CMD

2. Next, from the first computer, try to call the first computer with the command

ping 192.168.1.2

Okay, now that everything is done, let's try it out and check on the computer whether the data we shared earlier can be opened on the other computer. We can do this by typing the IP address of the computer that is being shared. Type the IP address in the address bar that we use, for example \\192.168.1.2

The IP address must match the one used. If successful, you'll see the shared image in the folder.

That's my tutorial on how to share data in Windows 7, hopefully it can be useful for those who don't understand about sharing data in Windows 7, and for those who still don't understand, please search again on the internet because different tutors have different understandings, not all of us necessarily understand what is being taught, good luck, friends.
